5 of the best intuitive eating books

I’ve read some really great books by some incredible people. Intuitive eating books have shaped my progress. They’ve kept me going when I’ve thought about going back to dieting. They’ve given me the tools to take my intuitive eating further. They’ve helped me to become the Intuitive Eating counsellor that I am today. I trust these authors implicitly. They are knowledgeable, experienced, full of wisdom, and very entertaining!

Here are my favourites. These are what I consider to be some of the best intuitive eating books around, with a bonus body positivity book thrown in for good measure. I hope you find (at least) one that you love.

I tried every diet in the book. I tried some that weren’t in the book. I tried eating the book. It tasted better than most of the diets.

The body is not an apology - Sonya Renee Taylor

The Body Is Not an Apology offers a new way of thinking about self-love. It provides a way to heal wounds that are inflicted on us by our society, and to think of ways to change the systems that are so problematic.

Sonya Renee Taylor, a famous activist and poet, invites us to think about our minds and bodies in a new way. A really insightful way to look at body positivity.
